The release date for 'Nekketsu Kuniokun Gaiden: River City Girls 2' has been set for Decem(Thursday). There are even improved quest tracking, three difficulty settings, and a dynamic story system with dialogue that changes depending on the player-controlled characters. Now we can look forward to the sequel to the game in summer 2022 when it releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There does not appear to be a trailer for the game yet.

WayForward explains that the game will launch on consoles and PC in 2022 with the return of Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, Riki, and new playable characters, plus two-player online co-op. I loved the first River City Girls game, it was fun, had really funny moments, and played really well. River City Girls 2 will additionally receive a physical release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
